Sterbenz Run for the Pickles 5K and 2K Pup Strut & Stroll
The event takes place at Warren County Community College in Washington, New Jersey. It includes a certified 5K race and two 2K walking events, one of which is pet friendly.

The 5K course uses a loop that measures exactly 2.5 km; runners complete the loop twice and follow an alternate finish path. The course is USATF certified (code NJ23046JLW) and World Athletics certified (USA-2023-209). A pickle themed treat is provided at the finish line for participants. Light refreshments are provided and an awards presentation follows the event.
Registration is open in advance. Race shirts and finisher medals are guaranteed to the first 250 registrants, and participants who register by September 13 receive a race shirt and finisher medal. Entry fees listed by the organizer are $35.00 for the 5K and $25.00 for each 2K event.
The event format explicitly welcomes runners, walkers, rollers, strollers, and four legged participants. Costumes are encouraged, and there is a community atmosphere with post event recognition for participants and teams. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
