Steps to Safety 5k
The Steps to Safety 5k is an annual community event held in Wauseon, Ohio. Now in its third year, this event is organized by The Center for Child and Family Advocacy, Inc. in collaboration with the Fulton County Domestic Violence Task Force. The run serves as a cornerstone of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, with the goal of supporting survivors and raising awareness for safety and advocacy.
The event features a single distance for participants:
- 5 km fun run and walk
The course is located at 120 E. Chestnut St. and is open to individuals and families of all ages and fitness levels. There are no specific qualification requirements for entry, and participants are welcome to run, walk, or attend as supporters. Registration is open until the morning of the event. Participants who complete their registration by September 18th are eligible to receive an event T-shirt.
