Step Up 4 Kids

Step Up 4 Kids is a family fun event that marks the end of the month-long Go Blue 4 Kids awareness campaign during National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The event benefits McMahon Ryan Child Advocacy Center and the children and families the center serves throughout Onondaga County.

The event program includes organized running options:

• 5K race
• Kids Fun Run

Organizers are planning the 2027 event for Sunday, May 16, 2027, but final details are on hold because of anticipated construction near the traditional race route. They expect additional information from the City in November and are working on a revised course for this year. Registration is scheduled to open January 1, 2027. Sponsorship materials and an online sponsorship form are available for those interested in supporting the event.
