Stellenbosch Garden Town Vineyard Run : Neethlingshof Wine Estate
Stellenbosch Garden Town is a trail running event through vineyards and Renosterveld in the Bottelary Hills around Neethlingshof Wine Estate. The event links multiple farms and offers routes of increasing distance that travel across different properties as distance increases.
Distances available:
- 7 km : stays within Neethlingshof estate
- 16 km : extends to Wolwedans, two farms on one route
- 25 km : links Neethlingshof, Wolwedans, Fort Simon, Kaapzicht and Mooiplaas, out-and-back
- 36 km : links six properties and includes around 1 500 m of climbing
There is a Relaxed Run option for the 7 km, 16 km and 25 km distances that allows flexible self-starting; the 36 km has no Relaxed Run option. Each entry includes a pair of limited-edition THE Socks featuring the event Renosterveld flower and a large Garden Town finisher's medal. Entry pricing varies by distance, with specified online rates and higher on-the-day fees; TrailFun HERO members and junior runners receive a 50% discount on applicable distances.
