STEGO STAMPEDE FUN RUN
The Stego Stampede Fun Run is the first organized run across Dinosaur Ridge, taking place on September 27, 2026 at the Dinosaur Ridge Main Visitor Center in Morrison, Colorado. The event has an entry fee of $35. Costumes are encouraged for adults and children, and dogs in costume are welcome; decorated strollers may join as well. Prizes will be awarded to participants.
The day includes an accompanying Paleo ArtFest held in the visitor center parking lot after the run. Admission to the main visitor exhibit hall and to the Deep Time Detour exhibition at the Martin G. Lockley Discovery Center on the west side of Dinosaur Ridge is free for the day. The event is presented as part of Colorado’s sesquicentennial activities and highlights the paleontological features and history of the Ridge.
