Steep Ultra - Newfoundland Mountain Ultra
The event takes place in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador, on Saturday, September 5, 2026. It offers multiple trail race formats across the Long Range Mountains and along the Humber River.
Distances offered:
- 100 km - out-and-back, traverses four peaks twice, ~13,000 ft elevation gain
- 50 km - 6,700 ft elevation gain, mountain terrain and Humber River sections
- 50 km Relay - teams of up to 4 runners
The course includes mountain sections, ocean views and remote landscape. Finishers receive a finisher gift. The event emphasizes showcasing western Newfoundland, community support, sustainability and inclusivity.

- Registration opens November 15
- Registration closes August 15
- 100 km entry fee: $120 CAD
- 50 km entry fee: $85 CAD
