Steep Ultra
Steep Ultra takes place in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador on Saturday, September 5, 2026. The event offers multiple trail race formats across the Long Range Mountains and along the Humber River.
Race options:
- 100 km : over 13,000 ft elevation gain, out-and-back, four peaks twice.
- 50 km : about 6,700 ft elevation gain, trails along the Humber River.
- 50 km relay : teams of up to four runners.
The course passes coastal viewpoints, rolling mountains and remote landscapes. Finishers receive a finisher gift. The event states its goals as sharing western Newfoundland, building community, and organizing races that are community oriented, sustainable and inclusive.
