Steep Ultra
The Steep Ultra event takes place in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador. It offers three races: the Steep 100k, the Steep 50k, and the Steep 50k Relay.
The Steep 100k is set in the Long Range Mountains and features over 13,000 feet of elevation gain. The course is an out-and-back style, traversing four peaks, twice. The Steep 50k is also in the Long Range Mountains, cruising along the Humber River, with 6,700 feet of elevation gain. For the Steep 50k Relay, captains can build a team of up to 4 runners.
Finishers receive a gift. The event highlights the landscape of western Newfoundland, with ocean views and mountains. Stated values include supporting the local community, sustainability, fun, and challenge, with an inclusive spirit.
The refund policy offers full refunds (minus the processing fee) until March 30th, 2026. No rollovers or transfers are allowed after that. Registration closes on August 15th, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
