Joy Run 25
The Joy Run 25 is an annual trail running event held on the West Coast of Newfoundland and Labrador. The 7th edition of the race returns to its original location in Pasadena, continuing a movement established in 2021. The event is held in memory of Jody Joy and serves as a platform to promote mental health and suicide prevention awareness.
The course features a point-to-point route through the backcountry and the Humber Valley. Participants encounter varied terrain including mountain climbs and valley sections. The event utilizes the following distance:

The race starts on North Harbour Road in Pasadena. From there, the path leads through the local wilderness and rugged terrain, eventually finishing in Steady Brook. The final section of the course involves a descent that provides views of the surrounding Humber Valley.
The event focuses on building community connection and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health.
