Event overview

Stebbing 10 is a 10-mile road and multi-terrain race organised by Grange Farm & Dunmow Runners. The event takes place on Remembrance Sunday and is held from a race headquarters at Stebbing Primary School, Stebbing, Dunmow, Essex CM6 3SH. The race is in its 23rd year and has previously received the Howard Williams Trophy for the best road race in the Essex AA area.

The course is described as gently undulating and scenic, running on quiet country lanes around the village with some farm track sections. The event observes a two-minute silence before the start and attracts local support on the course.

Course, prizes and logistics

Detailed route maps, including GPX files, are available for download. The event provides a bespoke commemorative medal inspired by Remembrance Sunday. A cash prize of £100 is offered for anyone who breaks the course record (Male 51:52 / Female 58:01). Trophies and other prizes are awarded to leading runners.

No entries are available on the day. Event information is sent to registered entrants before race day. The organisers do not offer refunds or deferrals. Ample parking is available, but it is located about a 10-minute walk from the school; participants and visitors are asked not to park on the road through Stebbing. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
