Stavanger Marathon
Stavanger Marathon takes place on 28 August 2027 in Stavanger sentrum. The event is organised by GTI Friidrettsklubb. Routes run around local lakes and along fjords, with a surface mix of asphalt and gravel. Volunteers along the course provide directions, drinks and general support.

Start number pickup is at the Radisson Blu Atlantic Hotel on the Friday and Saturday before the race; opening hours are approximately Friday 10:30-19:15 and Saturday 07:30-15:15. Registration opens February 2027. At the time of publication the 5 km race is sold out and there are few places left for the half marathon and marathon.
Participant services include course maps and information from the organiser. The event maintains social media channels on Facebook and Instagram for updates and photos. The organiser provides rules on changing distance and transferring entries: participants cannot move up in distance, can move down by logging in, and start number resale is permitted only within the same distance.
