About the race
The Standalone 10k is a local road race organised by North Herts Road Runners. The 2026 edition takes place on 4 October 2026 at Standalone Farm, Wilbury Road, Letchworth Garden City SG6 4JN and is held under UKA licence number 30401. The event has been run by the club for 38 years and raises funds for local charities.
The race is a measured 10 km on fully closed roads with chip timing. Course support includes a water station at 5 km and at the finish, professional marshals around the course and on-course live music. Start and finish facilities are at the farm and include food and drink stalls, easy access and parking.
Prizes are offered across multiple categories, including provision for local unattached runners. There is a T-shirt option made from recycled materials and an option to plant trees as part of a greener event approach. The nominated charity for 2026 is Garden House Hospice Care.
