Standalone 10k
The Standalone 10 km is a community running event organised by North Herts Road Runners and scheduled for 4 October 2026 at Standalone Farm, Wilbury Road, Letchworth Garden City SG6 4JN. The race holds a UKA licence and is presented as a well established local event run by club volunteers.
The course is a measured 10 km on fully closed roads and the event is chip timed. Start and finish facilities are at Standalone Farm with food and drink stalls, live music on the course and at the farm, easy access and ample parking. There is a water station at 5 km and at the finish. The course is professionally marshalled by club members who also provide spectator support.
Event features include prize money across multiple categories including a local unattached runner category, a t shirt option made from recycled materials, and an option to plant trees as part of a greener approach. The organisers work with local partners to reduce environmental impact. Profits from the race are used to support club activities and the club charity. The event has a history of raising funds for local charities and lists GRIT Growing Resilience in Teens as a nominated charity in recent years.
