Standalone 10k

The Standalone 10k is a community road race organised by North Herts Road Runners at Standalone Farm, Wilbury Road, Letchworth Garden City SG6 4JN. The event is scheduled for 4 October 2026 and holds a UKA licence (30401).

The course is a measured 10 km on fully closed roads and the event uses chip timing. There is a water station at 5 km and at the finish. Race day marshals are provided by the club and the course includes on-course entertainment and live music on the course and at the farm. Start and finish facilities are at Standalone Farm, where food and drink stalls are available and there is parking and easy access.

Prize money is offered across multiple categories, including provision for a local un-attached runner. A race t-shirt option is available, with a recycled material option noted, and entrants can choose an option to plant trees. The nominated charity for 2026 is Garden House Hospice Care. The organisers state the event has been run by club volunteers for many years and that surplus income has been used to support club activities and local charities.
