Event Overview
The Stag Stampede 5k and Fun Run takes place in Dublin, New Hampshire, on the grounds and surrounding roads of the Dublin Christian Academy. This inaugural community event serves as a fundraiser for the academy’s athletics programs, including soccer, volleyball, and basketball. Participants have the option to run or walk the course, and strollers are permitted.
The event features two distinct distances:
- 3.1 Miles: A single-lap 5k course known locally as "the loop."
- 440 Yards: A quarter-mile fun run for children and adults.
Course Details
The 3.1 Mile course follows a scenic route that starts and finishes at the playground on Page Road. The layout consists of a mix of paved roads and gravel sections. The route begins on flat terrain heading south on Page Road, turns onto Craig Road and Route 137, and then transitions to Windmill Hill Road where the elevation gradually rises. The final segment includes a climb up Alsi’s Hill on Page Road and a dirt loop before returning to the start.
The 440 Yard Fun Run is a shorter route also beginning at the playground. It follows a dirt drive past the school shop toward a field cottage which offers views of Mount Monadnock. The path proceeds along the grass Carriage Path between stone walls before turning back onto Page Road to conclude at the playground.
