Event overview
The Stafford Race for HOPE Triathlon, Duathlon, & Aquabike takes place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Manahawkin Lake Park in Manahawkin, NJ. The event includes the following race options: Triathlon, Duathlon, Aquabike, Triathlon Relay, and Duathlon Relay. The event benefits David’s Dream & Believe Cancer Foundation and the Southern Regional School District. The event is part of the DQ Events Grand Prix and Club Challenge series.
Distances
- Triathlon: 1/4 mile swim, 12 mile bike, and 5k run
- Duathlon: 2 mile run, 12 mile bike, and 5k run
- Aquabike: 1/4 mile swim and 12 mile bike
Course and logistics
All races start and finish at Manahawkin Lake Park. The swim is in a fresh water lake. The course description notes a flat run on an out-and-back lake road and a bike course that is freshly paved; the bike course is modified until bridge construction is complete. Waves are spaced three minutes apart; swim caps are for swimmers only. T-shirts are provided to the first 200 entries and custom finisher medals are given to all multisport finishers. Split results will be available on the race website.
Rules, awards, and other information
Registration is digital; athletes must pick up their own packet and show photo ID. Multisport participants must have an active USAT membership and follow USAT wetsuit and competition rules. Awards include top 3 male and female overall, age-group awards, Clydesdale and Athena divisions, and relay category awards.
