St. Paddy’s Day Run Tacoma
St. Paddy’s Day Run Tacoma on March 13, 2027, offers three measured race distances that start and finish in downtown Tacoma. The courses run along the waterfront and use the Ruston Way Path. The half marathon is an out-and-back route that continues toward the Point Ruston Waterwalk and Dune Peninsula Park, includes a climb over the Wilson Way Bridge before the turnaround, and returns along the waterfront. The 10K follows the same out-and-back corridor along the half marathon route. The 5K is a 3.1 miles event open to runners and walkers.

All finishers receive a commemorative finisher medal. Registration items include the medal, a tech shirt for half marathon entrants, and short sleeve tees for 10K and 5K entrants (shirt size guaranteed if ordered by March 3). Team discounts apply for groups of 4, 10, and 15 with tiered price reductions; discounts are not valid during the two-day opening period. A portion of proceeds is designated for the Humane Society of Tacoma & Pierce County.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Co-Op, 4502 N Pearl St, Tacoma, and limited day-of packet pickup is offered at the start lines. Aid stations are placed roughly every 2 miles on the half marathon course and provide water, electrolyte, Vaseline, basic first aid, and some energy gels; medical personnel are on course and at the finish. The half marathon has a 3-hour course time limit. Awards include overall male and female and age-group ribbons for the top five in multiple age categories; awards cannot be mailed.
