St. Paddy’s Day Run Tacoma (March 13, 2027)
St. Paddy’s Day Run Tacoma offers multiple race distances in downtown Tacoma on March 13, 2027. Distances include:
- Half Marathon : certified WA24005RMB
- 10K : certified WA24006RMB
- 5K (3.1 miles) : certified WA240007RMB
The half marathon is an out-and-back route that begins downtown, follows the waterfront, connects to the Ruston Way Path, and continues toward the Point Ruston Waterwalk and Dune Peninsula Park. The course includes a climb over the Wilson Way Bridge before the turnaround and then returns along the waterfront to finish downtown. The 10K follows part of the half marathon waterfront route as an out-and-back. The 5K is a 3.1 mile event open to runners and walkers and is described as an annual tradition.
Registration includes a finisher medal for all participants, a long sleeve tech shirt for half marathon entrants, short sleeve shirts for 10K and 5K entrants, a collective bib, and optional merchandise for purchase. Team discounts are offered for groups of 4, 10, and 15 with corresponding refunds when team size thresholds are met. All entry fees are non refundable and transfers or roll overs are not permitted.
Packet pickup is available the day before at Ruston Waterfront Market, 5101 Yacht Club Rd, Tacoma, and day of race pickup is available at the start lines. Gear check is provided at the start line; bags are claimed with the bib number and participants are advised not to leave valuables. Aid stations appear roughly every two miles with water, electrolyte, Vaseline, basic first aid, and some energy gels; some stations have porta potties and medical personnel are on course.
