D&L RaceFest Presented by St. Luke's
The St. Luke's D&L RaceFest is a multi-distance running and walking event held on the historic D&L Trail in Eastern Pennsylvania. As Pennsylvania's longest multi-use trail, the course provides a joint-friendly surface and scenic autumn views. The event traverses several locations including Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton.
Participants can choose from a variety of race formats:
- Full Marathon
- Marathon Relay
- Heritage Half Marathon Run
- Heritage Half Marathon Walk
The race routes are situated along the Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor, offering sights of local industrial heritage and nature during the late fall season. The event weekend includes a Race Expo, an after-party, and various spectator areas. Shuttles and designated parking are provided for participants and visitors.
Proceeds from the event support the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor Inc., a non-profit organization focused on trail maintenance, environmental conservation, and health and wellness programs. The race serves to promote the expansion of the D&L Trail toward its goal of stretching 165 miles from Wilkes-Barre to Bristol. Registered participants receive amenities such as a t-shirt, a finisher medal, and free downloadable race photos. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
