About the race
The 54th Annual St. John Applefest Road Race takes place in Fenton, Michigan on September 19, 2026. The event uses 100% paved roads through the streets of Fenton and is organized around several race options and a festival atmosphere at St. John locations.
Registration for each event includes chip timing with live results, a custom dri-fit race shirt, a custom finisher medal, overall and age group awards, free race photos, and post-race refreshments. The 10K field is run as two laps of a 5K course and will record a 5K split time as well as a 10K finish time. The quarter mile youth race is not timed.
Packet pickup is available before race day at St. John Catholic School and on race day at St. John Catholic Church. The race noted new 2026 enhancements including partnership with Great Lakes Race Management, inflatable start and finish arches, pro sound systems, mile markers, and additional course upgrades.
