St Helena Hospice Half Marathon and 10k
St Helena Hospice Half Marathon and 10k takes place on 04 October 2026 at Low Road Recreational Ground, Harwich, CO12 3TA.
The 2026 event adds a new 10k route alongside the established half marathon. The course runs mainly on tarmac and is undulating, with sea views from the promenade. Detailed route maps, including GPX files, are available for download.
The event supports St Helena Hospice, a Colchester based charity that provides specialist palliative and end of life care to people in north east Essex and offers grief support to families and carers. A HEROES ticket includes a donation that can help cover the cost of half an hour of family support for a family in the half marathon or a 30 minute counselling session for a 10k entrant.
