St Helena Hospice Half Marathon & 10k
The St Helena Hospice Half Marathon and new 10k take place on 4 October 2026 at Low Road Recreational Ground, Harwich CO12 3TA. The event is organised by St Helena Hospice, a Colchester based charity that provides palliative and end of life care in north east Essex.
The event features two distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10k
The course is described as tarmac and undulating and includes sea views from the promenade. The event will include an event village and is presented as a fundraising opportunity for the hospice. Route maps and GPX files are available for download.
Entries include a bespoke medal and chip timing. On-the-day entry fees, subject to availability, are listed as £33 for the Half Marathon and £27 for the 10k. HEROES ticket options include a donation element: a HEROES half marathon ticket may cover half an hour of support from a family support worker for a family, and a HEROES 10k ticket may cover a 30 minute advice and support session from a St Helena counsellor.
