St. Donat Mudskipper Quebec SwimRun Championships and Open Water Swim
This multisport event takes place in Saint-Donat-de-Montcalm, Quebec, at the Le Grand R Resort located on the banks of Lake Bouillon. The event date is July 26, 2026.
The event features two main types of competitions.
Mudskipper SwimRun
- A championship 24 km course (also listed as 20 km), offered as both an individual and a team event. The course alternates between open water swimming and trail running segments.
- A shorter 11 km SwimRun challenge.
St. Donat Open Water Swim
- This is the 3rd annual edition of this open water swim race. The available distances are 1 km, 3 km, and 5 km.
Onsite registration and check-in occur on the event morning, followed by a mandatory race briefing. Food is provided. Wetsuits are optional for the SwimRun events. A swim cap is provided and must be worn by each swimmer for identification purposes.
The event organizer is Canaqua Sports. The official wetsuit sponsor is Sumarpo, which offers eco-friendly suits. A partnership is also in place with the charity Childhood Cancer Canada. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
