St. Croix Crossing Half Marathon : event summary
The St. Croix Crossing Half Marathon takes place on July 25, 2026, and is produced by Run Stillwater, Inc. The multi-state course begins in western Wisconsin and finishes in Minnesota, crossing the St. Croix Crossing bridge and ending near the historic Stillwater Lift Bridge in downtown Stillwater. The fully paved route follows tree-lined roads, passes picturesque farms, and uses the Loop Trail between Minnesota and Wisconsin.

All three courses are USA Track & Field (USATF) certified and sanctioned. Timing is provided by Mtec Results and participant tracking is available through the Run Stillwater app. Race services include gender-specific cotton blend shirts, collectible finisher medals that join as an annual set, personalized bibs up to 10 characters, bag drop with provided clear bags, pacers for the half marathon, staffed water stations with water and Gatorade, and restrooms along the courses at roughly two-mile intervals.
Finish-line amenities include recovery food and beverages, a selfie clock showing name and time, video finish and results via Mtec Results, and free race photos. Shower facilities are available after the race at River Valley Athletic Club for registered runners. Packet pickup and in-person registration are organized in downtown Stillwater at the Water Street Inn.
