St. Bernard's 5K Color Run/Walk
St. Bernard's 5K Color Run/Walk is a community event held at St. Bernard’s Church by the playground in Thief River Falls, MN. The course begins and ends at St. Bernard's and includes four color stations along the route. The event is part of a block party that features food trucks, a bouncy house, games, music, and other family activities throughout the day.
A pre-race kit pickup is available before race day at St. Bernard’s Church by the playground; participants may collect their race t-shirt, bib, color packet, and other gear ahead of the event. After the run there are blow-off stations for participants to reduce excess color before getting into vehicles; organizers recommend bringing a towel for the drive home.
Registration details state that children 6 and under may participate without registration unless they request a race kit. Participants age 7 and older pay the registration fee of $30. Registration opens March 18, 2026 and closes August 7, 2026. The race kit includes a t-shirt, an individual packet of color powder, a pair of sunglasses, an inspirational bracelet, a Color Blaze sticker, and two assorted temporary tattoos.
