St Andrews Spring Triathlon 2026
The event takes place in the historic seaside town of St Andrews on 08 Mar 2026 and is organised by the University of St Andrews Triathlon Club. It includes a sprint distance race and a shorter novice race, both using a swim-cycle-run format. Races are non drafting and open to participants aged 15 and over; competitors under 18 must provide parental consent.
Sprint distance course details are provisional. The swim takes place in the East Sands Leisure Centre pool. The run is on paved surfaces and mapped routes are used for cycling and running. Relay teams of two or three are permitted; one team member registers and supplies teammate details.
Novice race routes are also provisional and were adjusted to avoid road works on Grange Road. The novice swim is a pool swim and the novice run is on paved surfaces.
A British Triathlon Race Pass is required for participants who are not British Triathlon Home Nation members. Refunds may be issued at the organiser’s discretion minus processing fees for withdrawals made more than one week before the event. If the race is cancelled, 75% of entries will be refunded.
