St. Albert Triathlon - August 9, 2026
The event takes place in St. Albert, referred to as The Botanical Arts City of Alberta. The race features a 25 metre outdoor pool swim followed by a bike and run on rolling, low traffic roadways.
Four race options are offered:
- Sprint Triathlon: 750 m swim; 20 km bike (4 loops); 5 km run
- Try-a-Tri: 250 m swim; 10 km bike; 2.5 km run
- Team Relay: sprint distance for relay teams
- Aqua-Bike: sprint distance swim and bike
The organizer provides its own race insurance for 2026 and is subsidizing part of the cost. Early bird pricing listed for Sprint and Aqua-Bike is: January 1 to March 31 at $110 plus $5 insurance; April 1 to May 30 at $130 plus $5 insurance; June 1 to August 4 at $150 plus $5 insurance. Try-a-Tri January 1 to August 4 at $99 plus $5 insurance. Team Relay January 1 to August 4 at $220 which includes insurance for all team participants.
