St. Albert Sprint Triathlon, August 9, 2026
The event takes place at Grosvenor Outdoor Pool in St. Albert and is organized by the St. Albert Road Runners and Triathlon Club. The swim is held in a 25 meter outdoor pool. The bike and run follow a rolling, low traffic roadway.
Four race formats are offered:
- Sprint Triathlon: 750 m swim, 20 km bike (4 loops), 5 km run
- Try-a-Tri: 250 m swim, 10 km bike, 2.5 km run
- Team Relay: Sprint distance 750 m swim, 20 km bike (4 loops), 5 km run
- Aqua-Bike: Sprint distance 750 m swim, 20 km bike (4 loops)
Aqua-Bike finishers may optionally run up to the field and through the finish line.
For 2026 the organizers provide and subsidize their own race insurance. Registration is open January 1 to August 4. Pricing windows and early bird rates are specified for Sprint and Aqua-Bike entries, with fixed prices for Try-a-Tri and Team Relay. Team Relay fees include insurance for all team participants.
