Inflatable 5K - St Albans, Hertfordshire (24 April 2027)
This event is an inflatable obstacle course and fun run held at Hertfordshire County Showground, Dunstable Road, Redbourn. The course is laid out as a 2.5 km lap, and participants may choose from multiple lap-based distances. The event is untimed and includes music zones along the route.
Distances available:
- 2.5k, 1 lap, 15 obstacles
- 5k, 2 laps, 30 obstacles
- 10k, 4 laps, 60 obstacles
- 15k, 6 laps, 90 obstacles
Each 2.5 km lap repeats the same inflatable obstacles. The 5k layout includes 30 obstacles after three additional new obstacles were added to the course. The route features five music zones and a water station located midway.
Entry categories and rules note that adults are 16 and over and children are 5 to 15 years old; children must be accompanied by a paying participating adult at a maximum 3 to 1 child to adult ratio. The event provides toilets, on-site food and drink vendors, and a finishers' medal, a goodie bag, and a post-run drink. The event operates without official timing.
Practical details on event day include a parking charge of £5 per car, a bag drop fee of £3 per bag, a policy that dogs are not permitted, and a requirement to present an e-ticket to collect race bibs.
