5th Annual 5K Memorial and Community Event
The 5th Annual 5K Memorial and Community Event takes place in West Memphis, Arkansas at Worthington Park (S. Worthington Dr. & N. Missouri St.) on September 19, 2026. The event includes both an in-person 5K run/walk and a virtual 5K challenge.

On-site activities include live music, food trucks, merchandise vendors, and inflatables for children. A red, white, and blue after-run celebration will include free color powder for all participants.
Registration fees are the same for the main and virtual events. Fee options listed by the organizer include a $30 adult entry that includes a 5K memorial T-shirt if registered by August 19, a $45 adult option that adds a challenge coin if registered by August 19, and a $15 youth entry that includes a youth T-shirt. Virtual registrants will have their shirts shipped, preferably by race day if not shortly after. The event is rain or shine and the organizer states there are no refunds.
All proceeds will go toward a memorial scholarship fund supporting local and national students who exhibit Honor, Courage, and Commitment, and toward providing aid to veterans needing service dogs. Pre-race packet and T-shirt pickup is scheduled the day before at Worthington Park, with day-of registration and packet pickup available.
