About the race
The 5th Annual memorial 5K and community event takes place on September 19, 2026 at Worthington Park in West Memphis, Arkansas, located at S. Worthington Drive and N. Missouri Street. The event offers an in-person 5K run/walk, a virtual 5K option, and an in-person 5K entry that includes a challenge coin.

- 3.12 Miles in-person 5K run/walk
- 3.12 Miles virtual run/walk
- 3.12 Miles in-person 5K with challenge coin option
On-site attractions include live music, food trucks, merchandise vendors, and inflatables for children. A Red, White, and Blue after run celebration will include free color powder for all participants.
Proceeds support a memorial scholarship fund that provides scholarships to local and national students who demonstrate Honor, Courage, and Commitment, and also support aid for veterans who need service dogs.
Registration fees and inclusions are stated as follows: $30 for adults includes a memorial event t-shirt if registration is completed by September 1; $45 for adults includes a t-shirt and a challenge coin if registered by September 1; $15 for youth includes a youth t-shirt. Virtual registrants will have t-shirts shipped, preferably by race day or shortly after. Registration opens May 26 and closes September 19. The event is rain or shine and no refunds are offered. Pre-race packet and t-shirt pickup is scheduled for Friday, September 18 at Worthington Park. Day of packet pickup and registration will be available at the event.
