SSgt Jason Hicks Memorial 5k : Pageland, SC
The SSgt Jason Hicks Memorial 5k is scheduled for May 23, 2026 in Pageland, South Carolina, with the Pageland Community Center listed as the event location at 1113 West McGregor Street. The event is in its 14th year and all proceeds benefit the SSgt Jason Hicks Memorial Scholarship Fund.
The scholarship has been awarded annually to a graduating senior from Central High School in Pageland. Any Central High School graduating senior may apply; applicants are asked to demonstrate leadership and community service. Contributions to the scholarship fund may be mailed to the fund’s posted address.
Event features include a morning packet pickup at Pageland Community Center, a post race meal with BBQ chicken available for purchase, and family oriented festivities. Race packets contain a race number, a purchased t shirt, an admission ticket to the post race lunch, and additional items.
Shirts are available for an extra charge and sizes are offered in youth and adult ranges. Awards are presented 1st through 3rd overall for male and female and first place male and female in each age group; age groups begin at 13 and under and continue by standard ranges to 70 and over.
