Sri Chinmoy Triple-Triathlon
The Sri Chinmoy Triple-Triathlon is a single-day, off-road multi-sport event held in and around Canberra on 8 November 2026. The course links trails, parks and three separate lakes, and is estimated at about 150 kilometres in total. The route passes through Canberra Nature Park and includes climbs and descents over ten named peaks.
The event can be contested solo or by relay teams. Team formats include three-person teams and teams of four to nine; mixed teams must have at least three of the nine legs completed by female members to qualify for a Mixed Team award. Transition compounds and multiple aid stations are provided along the course, and the finish area includes recovery facilities such as hot showers and a meal for competitors.
Swim safety measures are in place: swim caps are compulsory for all three swims and wetsuits are strongly recommended; typical lake water temperatures at this time of year are 16 C to 20 C. Mountain bike equipment rules exclude road, gravel and cyclo-cross bikes and forbid aero bars. Number checkpoints and officials monitor each leg; missing a checkpoint incurs a minimum time penalty.
