Sri Chinmoy Triple‑Triathlon : Canberra
The Sri Chinmoy Triple‑Triathlon is an off‑road multi‑stage event held in and around Canberra that links three separate lake swims with mountain bike and trail run legs. The course traverses Canberra Nature Park and visits multiple ridges and peaks, giving a route that totals about 150 km. The 29th running took place in and around Canberra on Sunday 8 November 2026.
The race is contested as three consecutive triathlons made up of nine legs:
- Swim 1.5 km
- Mountain bike 35 km
- Run 18 km
- Swim 3.5 km
- Mountain bike 38 km
- Run 11 km
- Swim 1.2 km
- Mountain bike 23 km
- Run 13 km
Entries are accepted for solo competitors or relay teams of 3 up to 9 members. Solo athletes must provide a personal helper who receives an official helper ID; helpers may assist with equipment, food and logistics but may not pace an athlete for more than 30 seconds or physically propel them forward. Team member replacements are permitted provided the team category remains unchanged.
Race logistics include mandatory registration before the event, transition compounds with full aid supplies, additional aid stations on the bike and run courses, and a finish area with showers and post‑race food for competitors. Swim caps are compulsory and wetsuits are recommended and may be required; road, gravel and cyclo‑cross bikes are not permitted and aero bars are forbidden.
