Event
The Sri Chinmoy Three-Day Race is a multi-day running event held April 19-22, 2026 in Flushing Meadows Corona Park, Queens, New York City. It is part of the Sri Chinmoy Ultra Trio series taking place April 19-29. Runners must be 18 or older. Awards are given by age group (Under 50, 50-59, 60 and over) for top finishers, and medals are provided to all finishers.
Course and race rules
The course is a 100% paved, flat, USATF certified loop of 0.747979 mile / 1.203577 km located at the north end of Meadow Lake and it passes through the Race Camp. Lap counting is staffed continuously and uses two systems for accuracy: hand-entered lap sheets and a computerized backup. Bibs must be visible on the torso. Runners must report any anticipated time off course lasting more than four minutes. Pacing is not allowed beyond 200 meters of the counting station. Cutting the course results in disqualification. A minimum of 27 miles per day is required to remain in the race. An analog scoreboard near the counting station and digital scoreboards in camp display mileage, but the lap counters keep the official record.
Race camp and facilities
The Race Camp includes kitchens, a camp kitchen for self-prepared food, showers, dugouts, camping area, toilets, a lap counting trailer, generator, and fenced perimeter. The Runners Kitchen provides three vegetarian meals daily and continuous snacks and drinks; a separate Camp Kitchen is available 24/7 with refrigerators and cooking facilities. Two showers in a trailer offer hot and cold water. Tents are the designated sleeping quarters; tent height should not exceed 4 ft / 1.5 m, and waterproof fly and ground tarps are required. RVs and camper vehicles are not allowed. A volunteer-supported medical tent provides limited care and daytime physician coverage; alcohol, marijuana, and drugs are prohibited. The course is lit at night and parking is in a designated lot. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
