Sri Chinmoy Self-Transcendence Oxford
A summer series of short road and park races held on Monday evenings in Cutteslowe Park, Oxford, around the Peace Mile. The course is a one-mile loop around the edge of the park; the surface is mostly grass with a short paved section and the start is by the duck pond.
Distances vary between about 2 and 4 miles, with a separate junior one-mile race held in mid-June. Typical race offerings include individual races and a series entry option across the summer.
Entry fees for 2026 were listed as £7.50 for unaffiliated runners and £5.50 for affiliated runners for individual races. Juniors under 17 receive a £3 discount on individual race entry; an affiliated junior example price was £2.50. An affiliated series entry was listed at £21; a junior discount for the series was not applied.
Age categories for main races include U/14, U/16, 17-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+. Junior runners are welcome to enter the main races as well as the dedicated junior mile.
Grand Prix standings are based on the first three races of the series, with prizes presented at the fourth race; tie-breaks use number of races completed then fastest time in the last three-mile race.
