Sri Chinmoy Tri Club's SBR-Mini DUATHLON at Tockington

This Swim Bike Run MINI duathlon is a short multisport race held at Tockington Manor School, centred on the sports field and the Pavilion. The event uses grass laps on the field for the run sections and a mostly flat 5 km lane loop around Tockington and Awkley for the bike.

Two race distance options are offered:

• 3 km run, 10 km bike, 1 km run
• 1 km run, 5 km bike, 1 km run

Run laps take place on the flat sports field; the course is run on grass and the run routes are 1 km or 3 km depending on choice. After the first run, athletes wheel bikes about 100 m to the mount point and ride one or two laps of the 5 km bike circuit before returning, dismounting and pushing bikes back to transition for the final 1 km run in the opposite direction. Riders are expected to obey the highway code and to avoid bunch riding; a sweep vehicle with a first aider and mechanic support follows the field.

Entry is capped to keep numbers small, with a limit of 80 participants. Standard entry is £20, with a discounted entry of £10 when using offer code SC26. Toilets are at the Pavilion, parking is in the school car park about 150 m from the Pavilion, and race insurance or permitting is managed through Triathlon England for 2026.
