Sri Chinmoy SBR-Mini Duathlon - Tockington
The event is a Swim Bike Run MINI Duathlon held at Tockington Manor School, forming part of British Triathlon’s Swim Bike Run MINI series. Races use the sports field and the adjacent local lanes around Tockington and Awkley. Entry is available online via the British Triathlon events pages or Findarace for listed dates; some races have allowed on-the-day registration.
Two distance options are offered:
- 1k run - 5k bike - 1k run
- 3k run - 10k bike - 1k run
The run course is on grass around the sports field, consisting of one or two laps depending on distance. After the first run athletes wheel their bikes about 100 m to the mounting point before taking a marshalled left turn onto the road. The bike leg is one or two laps of a predominantly flat 5 km loop on lanes; riders must obey the highway code and avoid bunch riding. Riders dismount to return to the transition area and complete a final 1 km run in the opposite direction, finishing by the Pavilion banners.
Field size is limited to 80 participants to keep the course uncrowded. Entry fee is stated as £20 with a half-price option available using code SC26. The event is permitted or insured by Triathlon England with 2026 permits pending. Facilities include toilets at the Pavilion, a sweep vehicle and first aid cover.
