Sri Chinmoy Canberra Trail Series
The Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team runs a five-event winter trail series at popular venues close to Canberra. Each event offers three distance categories and uses established park and reserve tracks, fire trails and single‑track sections.
- Short (2 km to 3.6 km)
- Middle (5 km to 10.6 km)
- Longer (9.6 km to 21.1 km)
The 2026 schedule and venues are: Race 1 on 26 April Cooleman Clip with 2 km, 5 km and 9.6 km courses; Race 2 on 10 May Tidbinbilla Thriller with 3.4 km, 6.8 km and 11.8 km courses; Race 3 on Monday 1 June Red Hill Ramble with 2.4 km, 8 km and 12.8 km courses; Race 4 on 28 June Ainslie Amble with 2 km, 8.3 km and 16.4 km courses; Race 5 on 19 July Aranda Meander with 3.6 km, 10.6 km and 21.1 km courses. Some course maps, elevation profiles and GPS files are provided for individual events.
Entry is available online for new registrations; earlybird entries close at 5pm two days before each race and a late entry fee applies for later or on‑the‑day entries. On‑the‑day entrants are asked to use a smartphone for online entry on site and to bring any permanent Sri Chinmoy race bib they already hold. Dogs are not permitted at any race. Awards include age‑group medals for specified placings and trophies for the Series Pointscore Championship. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
