Sri Chinmoy Canberra Trail Series
The Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team runs a five race winter trail series at popular venues near Canberra. Each event offers three distance options and uses local tracks, fire trails and single track around established recreation areas.
The 2026 series comprises five events with these names and distances:
Race 1: Sunday 26 April, "Cooleman Clip" - 2.0 km, 5.0 km, 9.6 km.
Race 2: Sunday 10 May, "Tidbinbilla Thriller" - 3.4 km, 6.8 km, 11.8 km.
Race 3: Monday 1 June, "Red Hill Ramble" - 2.4 km, 8.0 km, 12.8 km.
Race 4: Sunday 28 June, "Ainslie Amble" - 2.0 km, 8.3 km, 16.4 km.
Race 5: Sunday 19 July, "Aranda Meander" - 3.6 km, 10.6 km, 21.1 km.
Distances offered at each event fall into three bands:
- Short distance: 2 km – 3.6 km
- Middle distance: 5 km – 10.6 km
- Longer distance: 9.6 km – 21.1 km
Awards include age based medals for male and female finishers across categories and trophies for the Series Pointscore Championship. Entry follows an online and on the day process and some events note local venue details such as start/finish locations, parking and toilet availability.
