About the race
The Sri Chinmoy Auckland Series event at Lovelock Track, War Memorial Park, Mt Roskill features multiple race distances on accurately measured park circuits. Courses are certified and marked with kilometre markers, marshals and a lead cyclist on course. Aid stations provide water and electrolyte drinks at regular intervals and lap counters are used for longer distances.
Distances offered at this meeting include:
- 16.1 km (10-Mile Classic)
- 10 km
- 5.6 km
- Children's 2.5 km
The event uses park pathways with no road closures; participants must obey normal pedestrian and traffic rules where they apply. A strict two hour thirty minutes time limit applies to the half-marathon and the 16.1 km event. Bib pick-up, on-the-day entries and secure gear storage are available at the registration tent at the Lovelock Track. There is abundant free car parking near the Lovelock Track accessed off 740 Sandringham Road Extension.
Awards are given by category: trophies and medals for top finishers in open and age groups, and medals for children's winners. All finishers receive accurate finisher certificates and post-race food and drinks. Online entry cutoffs and entry fee tiers are published; on-the-day entries are accepted with specified rates and payment options.
