Square Lake Sprint
The Square Lake Sprint is a USAT-certified multisport event located in Square Lake Park in Stillwater, Minnesota. This event serves as the conclusion to a weekend of racing and is the final installment of a three-race sprint triathlon series. The venue is known for its clear water and scenic environment, offering participants a natural setting for multisport competition.
Participants can choose from multiple event formats:
- Sprint Triathlon: featuring a 0.5 mile swim, 18.5 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run.
- Aqua: featuring a 0.5 mile swim and 18.5 mile bike.

The competition begins with a self-seeded time trial swim start in the lake. The cycling portion consists of a hilly course on local roads, followed by a run on quiet streets. The event is open to athletes of all ages and abilities, including children as young as 10 years old when accompanied by a guardian.
The race utilizes electronic timing with chips worn on the left ankle. On-course support includes aid stations providing electrolytes and professional bike support in the transition area.
