Square Lake Sprint Triathlon
Square Lake Sprint Triathlon takes place on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at Square Lake Park in Stillwater, MN. It is the final race of the three race Sprint Triathlon Series and is USAT certified.
The event includes a lake swim, a hilly bike course, and a run on quiet roads. The swim uses a self seeded time trial start. Entries may be individual or relay teams. Athletes as young as 10 may participate when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Race options:
- Sprint Triathlon: 0.5 mile swim, 18.5 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
- Aqua: 0.5 mile swim, 18.5 mile bike, no run
- Relay team entries
Aid stations will provide Hammer electrolytes. Professional photography is available at no additional cost. Race packets distributed before the event include a race bib, timing chip, finisher medal, and event shirt if selected. Parking at the park requires a one day pass priced at $7. Timing chips for triathlons must be worn on the left ankle. Awards are given to overall male and female winners and to the top three in each age group.
