Spud Run - Race information
The Spud Run is an annual event in Shelley, Idaho held as part of the Spud Day celebration on September 19, 2026. The course starts and finishes at Sunrise Elementary in Shelley and includes both a 5-kilometer run and a 1-mile walk/run.

Standard registration is $35 and includes a medal, a t-shirt, a race chip, and access to race-day festivities. Registrations received after September 1 may not receive a t-shirt or a medal because organizers will estimate quantities in advance. Same-day registration is available for $40; same-day registrants are not guaranteed a shirt, medal, or packet.
Packet pick-up is scheduled at the Shelley High School Track during the Tater Trot on Friday, September 19. Event proceeds benefit the Shelley High School Girls Soccer team and the Girls and Boys Cross Country teams. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
