Sprout 5K and Fun Run
The Sprout 5K and Fun Run is the 14th annual fundraiser for Sprout Therapeutic Riding & Education Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Aldie, Virginia. The event takes place on October 25, 2026, at Clyde's Willow Creek Farm at Broadlands, 42920 Broadlands Blvd, Ashburn, VA. The start and finish lines are on the grounds of Clyde's.

- 1K Fun Run
Sprout provides adaptive programming that supports physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development. The organization serves more than 185 individuals each week and relies on over 100 volunteers. Sprout is Platinum-ranked through Candid, is a PATH Premier Center, and has been recognized locally as Loudoun County’s Best of the Best Equestrian Facility.
Proceeds from the event fund participant subsidies, need-based scholarships, horse care, facility operations, and specialized adaptive equipment.
Registration opens July 13 and closes October 23, 2026. Standard registration fees listed for early registration are 5K $30 with a $20 student rate for ages 21 and under, and 1K $20. Prices increase after October 23. To be guaranteed a race shirt, registration is recommended by October 2; shirts must be picked up at packet pick-up or at race morning registration.
Packet pick-up is at Clyde's at Broadlands on Saturday, October 24 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and on Sunday starting at 7:30 am. All registered runners receive a commemorative t-shirt and complimentary food and beverage from Clyde's. Medals are awarded to participating children 12 and under. Awards are given to overall first place male and female and to top male and female finishers in each age group. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
