Sprint for Specials 10K, 5K, & Virtual Race : Overview
The event takes place Saturday, April 25, 2026, in McMinnville, Tennessee, with the start and finish at USA Gym, 1014 South Chancery Street. It is the third annual Sprint for Specials and benefits McMinnville Special Games, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports the special needs community in Warren and surrounding counties. The event includes in-person and virtual options.

The 10K is a route through McMinnville that begins and ends at USA Gym and is described as a concise course with clear markings. The 5K is an out-and-back route through Hickory Creek that begins and ends at USA Gym and is staffed with volunteers at every turn. Professional timing is provided by A Matter of Timing.
Awards include top three overall places for male and female and top three in each age group (10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+). First-place overall winners receive HydroFlask tumblers and place pins are given to other place winners. All finishers receive a medal; virtual racers receive a medal by mail upon receipt of their submitted results, and virtual entrants are not eligible for places or awards.
