Event Overview
This is the 4th annual Sprint for Specials event in McMinnville, Tennessee. The event benefits McMinnville Special Games, a local organization that supports the special needs community in Warren and surrounding counties. The main events are a 10K, a 5K, and a virtual 10K race option.
Distances
- 10K: A course through McMinnville that starts and finishes at USA Gym on South Chancery Street. The route has clear markings.
- 5K: An out-and-back route along Hickory Creek, also starting and finishing at USA Gym. Volunteers are stationed along the course.
- Virtual 10K: Participants can complete the distance on their own and submit results. They receive a medal by mail.
Event Details
Professional timing is provided. Awards are given for the top three overall male and female finishers, with first-place winners receiving HydroFlask tumblers. Age group awards are also given in 10-year categories.
All in-person participants receive a finisher's medal. A T-shirt is included with registration, but it is not guaranteed for registrations after April 1, 2026. Race packet pickup begins on Thursday, April 23, 2026. The event features family-friendly entertainment with various tents on-site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
