Sprint for Specials 10K, 5K, & Virtual Race : McMinnville, TN
The event is the fourth annual Sprint for Specials held in McMinnville, Tennessee on April 25, 2026. It offers in-person and virtual options and is based at USA Gym, 1014 South Chancery Street.
Distances
- 10K through McMinnville, starts and finishes at USA Gym.
- 5K out and back route through Hickory Creek, begins and ends at USA Gym.
- Virtual 10K completed remotely; medal mailed to participant.
Proceeds benefit McMinnville Special Games, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports the special needs community in Warren and surrounding counties. Routes are described as concise and clearly marked; the 5K course is staffed with volunteers at each turn.
Professional timing is provided by A Matter of Timing. Awards include top three overall male and female finishers, with HydroFlask tumblers for first place and place pins for other top finishers. Top three age-group awards are given for male and female categories across age brackets from 10-19 through 80+. Virtual participants receive medals by mail and are not eligible for places or awards.
T-shirt availability is not guaranteed for registrations made after April 1, 2026. Race packets are available for pick up beginning Thursday, April 23. The event includes tents and on-site entertainment for spectators. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
