The Sprint for Specials takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in McMinnville, Tennessee. The event includes the following distances:

All in-person races start and finish at USA Gym, 1014 South Chancery Street, McMinnville, TN 37110. This is the fourth annual running of the event. Race packets are available for pick up beginning Thursday, April 23, 2026. Entry fee for each event is listed as $30, with a price increase scheduled after December 31, 2025.
Course, timing, and awards
The 10K follows a concise route through McMinnville and starts and finishes at USA Gym. The 5K is an out-and-back course through Hickory Creek, beginning and ending at USA Gym; volunteers will staff turns on the 5K route. Professional timing is provided by A Matter of Timing. Awards include top three overall male and female, with first-place overall receiving HydroFlask tumblers and place pins for other top finishers. Age-group awards are given for male and female in these groups: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. Virtual 10K participants receive a medal by mail upon submission of results; virtual entries are not eligible for places or awards. T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after April 1, 2026.
