Sprint and Splash
Sprint and Splash is a multi-discipline event held in Chesterfield, Michigan. The 5K Run/Walk course starts and finishes at Brandenburg Park. The paddle portion takes place on Lake St. Clair. The event is presented as a Macomb County tradition in a new setting.
Event distances include:
- 5K Run/Walk - 3.1 Miles
- Individual Duathlon - 5K run then 2 mile paddle
- Duathlon Relay - one member runs 5K the other paddles 2 miles
All participants receive an event shirt and a finisher medal. Participants are required to provide their own kayak for the paddle segment.
Registration opens June 1 and closes August 16. Published fees are $40 for the 5K Run/Walk, $50 for the Individual Duathlon, and $100 for the Duathlon Relay. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
