Springfield Stars & Stripes 7.4K Run and 4K Walk/Fun Run
The event takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the Toonerville Trail trailhead in Springfield, Vermont. It offers an out-and-back course along the Black River that is described as mostly flat and finishes back at the trailhead.

- 4K walk and fun run out-and-back
Registration fees are fixed: individual entries are $20 regardless of registration date. Family pricing is available as a flat fee of $50 for up to four family members, with an additional $10 per person for families larger than four. The family discount must be applied in person at the Edgar May Health and Recreation Center or at the event rather than online. A virtual entry is offered for $10; proceeds support the Springfield High School Cross Country team and submitted results may be posted.
On race day there will be water, an electrolyte drink, and light snacks including donuts and Otter Pops. Parking is available at the trailhead parking lot located between Image Tek Labels and United Construction and Forestry. Rules note that music players may be used with one earbud, strollers are allowed, and well behaved short leashed dogs are permitted. There are no refunds or transfers to other runners or other years.
