Springfield Spring Run
The Springfield Spring Run is a community athletic event held in Dugald, MB, located approximately 10 minutes East of the Perimeter. This inaugural annual race serves as a fundraiser for the school playground at École Dugald School. The event is sanctioned by the Manitoba Runners Association for 2026.
Participants can choose from three distinct distances:
- 1 km
- 2.5 km
- 5 km
The event is based at 544 Holland Street. Registration includes medals, post-run snacks, and swag bags, though bags are not guaranteed for those who register after May 1, 2026. Cash prizes are awarded for first and second place finishers in the 2.5 km and 5 km events.
In addition to the running tracks, the event features a fundraising pancake breakfast and a silent auction held at the community club. Race kits are available for pickup at École Dugald School on the Friday preceding the event or at the Dugald Community Club on the morning of the run.
