Event overview
The Spring Trail Series is scheduled for 18 April 2026 at Cowdray Estate, Surrey, inside the South Downs National Park. The route follows the Serpent Trail through greensand hills, rivers, woodland and lowland heath. The organiser expects over 1,200 runners and walkers. Logistics and services
All races start and finish at the same location just outside Cowdray Farm Shop, with event parking at the start/finish village. An expo at the start/finish will offer merchandise, hot drinks and food. Camping is available for Friday and Saturday nights; pitches can be booked during registration.
The organiser lists included services such as a fully marked course, medical support throughout the event, fully stocked aid stations and hot water for preparing food at the campsite, and a finisher’s medal. Cut-offs are described as very relaxed, with an average allowance of over two hours per 10km between checkpoints. Registration prices are shown from £35 to £120. If a participant cannot finish, they are offered entry to the next edition at half price, without a finisher’s medal or official result.
