Event Overview
The Spring Street 5K is part of a multi-event road race in Manchester, Connecticut. The 5K starts and finishes in front of the Globe Hollow parking lot. It follows a rolling-loop course, with the final mile being entirely downhill. The event is part of the USA Track & Field - Connecticut Road Racing Grand Prix circuit.
Race Details
Participants do not need to be competitive or a USATF member to take part. The event has a "no frills" approach for the year, meaning no giveaways but a lower registration cost. Add-on items can be purchased during registration or on the day of the race. Advance registration is encouraged, with paperless registration on race day.
Awards and Timing
Prizes are awarded to the top three male, female, and non-binary runners overall. Awards are also given to the top three finishers in multiple age divisions. Timing is provided by Last Mile Racing Co. using a B-Tag system, and results are posted online.
Logistics
Parking is available in the Globe Hollow parking lot, with overflow at Mt. Nebo. Restrooms are located at Mt. Nebo. There is no bag check, and personal property left unattended is not the responsibility of the organizers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
