Event overview
Red White & Ruck Nash is a charity ruck held on March 7, 2026 at Castle Park, 2135 New Castle Road, Arrington, TN. The event is presented by FleetFeet Nashville and organized by Memories of Honor, a registered 501(c)(3). The event honors service members and fallen heroes and supports the Enduring Heroes Program, which helps Gold Star family members attend an active retreat associated with the Bataan Memorial Death March.
Format, categories and what participants receive
The event uses a closed loop of approximately 3/4 mile. Participants complete as many laps as they choose within a time-limited format. There are competitive and noncompetitive options: Solo, 2-person relay, 3-person relay, 4-person relay, and an Honorary no-weight division. Divisions include No Weight (non-competitive), Light (20+ lb ruck or vest), and Heavy (35+ lb ruck or vest). Everyone except Honorary participants must carry a backpack or weighted vest. Teams use a punch card to record laps, and a staging area is provided for check-in between laps. Water and snacks are available in the staging area; personal coolers, chairs, and weighted popups are permitted. Each participant receives a commemorative event bib, a commemorative patch, a Fallen Hero memorial bib with a fallen service member's name, and a downloadable participant certificate.
