Reindeer Run/Walk 5K
The Reindeer Run/Walk 5K is an annual road race organized to benefit the Vilonia Lions Club. The event takes place at the Vilonia Softball Complex in Arkansas, which serves as both the starting and finishing point for the participants. The course is designated for a distance of 5 km, and the timing for the event is managed by MacDonald Timing LLC.
Participants are categorized for competitive purposes, with first, second, and third-place medals awarded in various categories. Specific awards are also presented to the overall male and female winners. Beyond athletic performance, the event features several unique recognition categories, including awards for the participant who donates the most eyeglasses, the most festive participant, the largest group, and the best-dressed pet.
The event encourages community contributions through the collection of eyeglasses. Individuals who complete their registration during the early registration period are provided with an exclusive event t-shirt. For those registering during the standard period, t-shirts are available based on remaining supply and are not guaranteed.
