Spring Day Festival Fun Run - Bracken Nature Reserve
The Friends of Bracken Nature Reserve present a spring festival at Bracken Nature Reserve in Cape Town with running, walks and family activities. The event includes a community fun run and guided nature experiences within the reserve.
The running offering is a 5 km fun run where walkers and runners can participate. Medals are provided for all finishers and refreshments will be available. Benches are placed around the reserve for picnics during the event.

Rock painting takes place in the Environmental Centre and is open to children of all ages. Flower walks cover the flora and fauna of the reserve and are limited to 30 people per walk. A lucky draw is scheduled with a variety of prizes. A historical session on signal cannons will precede a scheduled cannon firing that involves one large and two smaller cannons.
