Spring Day Festival Fun Run
The Spring Day Festival Fun Run takes place at Bracken Nature Reserve in Cape Town. The event includes a fun run of 5 km open to walkers and runners. All finishers receive medals and refreshments will be available. Benches are available across the reserve for picnics.
Activities scheduled during the festival include a rock painting session for children held in the Environmental Centre, two free guided flower walks that focus on the flora and fauna of the reserve and are limited to 30 participants each, a lucky draw with a variety of prizes, and a cannon firing demonstration that covers the history of signal cannons from the VOC period and involves one large and two smaller cannons.
