Spring - Clock Change Challenge

The Spring Clock Change Challenge is an annual running event held at the Calne Community Campus in Wiltshire. Now in its 16th year, the event features a selection of distances on fast, flat terrain designed for personal best attempts. The 10km and 5km courses consist of accurately measured out-and-back routes along quiet country lanes. The fun run takes place on a traffic-free sports field loop.

The following distances are available:

  • 10 km road race (minimum age 15)
  • 5 km road race (minimum age 11)
  • 1.5 km fun run (open to entrants under 17)

All participants receive electronic chip timing for accurate results. Runners in the 10 km and 5 km events are awarded a bespoke medal, while 1.5 km finishers receive a finisher's medal. Category prizes are available for the top three male and female finishers in all distances, with additional age-category and team awards for the 10 km race.

The venue provides several amenities, including free parking, changing rooms, showers, and toilet facilities. Lockers are available on-site, and hot food and drinks are served during the event. Please note that the course is not suitable for wheelchairs, prams, or dogs. The use of portable music players is prohibited. Participant capacity is limited to 400 runners for the 10 km and 200 for the 5 km. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
