Event Details

The Spring Break Run takes place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, in Springfield, Illinois. The event is based at Engrained Brewery, located at 1120 Lincolnshire Blvd. All races begin and end at this location.

Races

Participants can choose from two distances:

Spring Break 5k
Spring Break 10k

Both courses use a chip-timed start and are out-and-back routes on the Interurban Trail. Route maps are available for both distances.

Additional Information

Packet pickup is available on-site at Engrained Brewery starting at 8:00 AM. All entrants receive a finisher medal, an event t-shirt, and food or drink coupons. Awards are given to the top male and female finishers in both the 5k and 10k races. There are also age bracket awards divided into five-year increments.
