Event overview
The Spring Break Run takes place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, in Springfield, Illinois (ZIP 62711). The event includes two race distances:
- 5k
- 10k
Both races begin and end at Engrained Brewery, located at 1120 Lincolnshire Blvd. The course routes are out-and-back on the Interurban Trail.
Logistics and entry
Entry for each distance is listed at $25. The price increases after December 31, 2025 at 11:59pm CST. Packet pickup is on site at the brewery and starts at 8:00am. Race entry uses chip timing.
All participants receive a finisher medal, a t-shirt, and food/drink coupons. Route maps are provided for the 5k and for the 10k extension. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
