Spooky Sprint - Springfield
The Spooky Sprint is a Halloween-themed running event taking place in Willard, Missouri. The course utilizes the Frisco Highline Trail, with the starting point located at Willard High School. This event features multiple distances to accommodate various preferences, including:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles): Includes a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal.
- 10K (6.2 miles): Includes a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal.
- 5K (3.1 miles): Includes a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal.
- 1 Mile: An untimed event including a custom bib, designer shirt, and medal.
- Kids Dash (50m): An untimed event for children aged 10 and under.
The event utilizes chip-timing for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon distances, providing participants with live results and awards. Participants receive various amenities, including free photos and treats at the finish line. A virtual race option is available for those unable to attend the physical location, allowing individuals to complete their run independently and receive event swag.
There is also a volunteer-based entry option where participants assist with event preparations before running their chosen distance. To ensure a shirt is included with registration, participants must complete their entry by midnight on the Thursday two weeks prior to the event date.
