Spooky Sprint 2026
Spooky Sprint 2026 takes place on October 31, 2026 at Quidi Vidi Lake in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. The event is a single lap on the trail that circles Quidi Vidi Lake and is described as a family-friendly fun run.
The event is limited to 400 spots and was reported to have sold out quickly the previous year. At the time of posting there were 188 spots remaining. Registration pricing shown includes an early bird reference of CA$40 and listed registration fees of CA$45.51 (Jan 18 – Oct 3) and CA$56.31 (Oct 4 – Oct 27).
Spooky Sprint supports Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern NL and displays fundraising activity and totals for the charity. Prizes include awards for first, second and third best costumes, a CA$100 Running Room gift card for the top fundraiser, and an additional CA$100 Running Room gift card entry for participants who donate CA$10 or more when registering. Participants receive a glow in the dark medal.
Race bib pick up is scheduled on October 29 and October 30 at the St. John's Running Room (Churchill Square), 9 Rowan Street. The event lists Running Room as a sponsor. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
