Boston Pizza Flat Out 5k
The Boston Pizza Flat Out 5k is a 5 km road race held on Sunday, Apr 26. Entry fee is $20; a Competitive NLAA membership or a day permit is required for $5.
The race starts at Aberdeen by Boston Pizza and finishes at Stavanger near Carrick. Chip timing is used. Age group and overall medals are awarded. Parking, washrooms, and a reception are located at Boston Pizza.
Bib pickup is at the Hop Shop, 16 Harbour View Avenue (Quidi Vidi Brewery outlet off Torbay Rd) on Saturday, Apr 25 from 1 PM to 3 PM. Participants are invited to bring pull tabs from drink cans and used sneakers to the kit pickup for the recycling program.
The event supports MUN Cross-Country; proceeds contribute annually to an endowment for the Athletics NorthEAST Award, presented to top male and female cross-country team athletes. The race is hosted by Athletics NorthEAST Running Club, is NLAA accredited, and is Toyota High Performance Series number 1. Course certification: NL-2025-008-PTBA.
