Spooky Sprint - Denver
The Spooky Sprint is an annual Halloween themed running event held at Chatfield State Park in Littleton, Colorado on October 3, 2026. The event program includes multiple in-person races plus a virtual option.
Distances and event options
- 50 m Kids Dash, untimed, youth sized shirt and kid's medal
- 1 Mile, untimed, includes custom bib, designer shirt, finisher medal
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Virtual race with event packet shipping after the live event
- Volunteer THEN Run option allowing volunteers to run afterward
- Running Buddy Half Marathon for preapproved Running Buddies only
Event services and notes Chip timing with live results and awards is provided for timed races. Event registration fees vary by event. Youth pricing for the 5K and 10K is listed at $17 for ages 12 and under. Race entries include designer shirts, custom bibs, and finisher medals for most distances. Free event photographs and treats at the finish line are provided. Virtual race packets are shipped the Wednesday after the live event. The Volunteer THEN Run option asks volunteers to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup to assist prior to running.
