Spooky 10K Trail Race, Port Gamble, Wa
The event is the 17th running of the Spooky 10K in historic Port Gamble, Wa. The course combines single track and dirt roads and includes about 600 feet of climbing, with most of that elevation gain occurring in the first three miles. The field is limited to 100 participants.
Race start and finish are at the Uplands in Port Gamble. Heading north on SR104, take a left into the Uplands about a quarter mile before entering Port Gamble; there will be a sign on the road. Registration closes on Sat, Oct 24 at 11:59 PM PT.
Entry fees were increased after county and Raydient fees rose significantly; the organizer states the race fee was raised accordingly. Sign-up fees include a long sleeve technical shirt, a custom-made medal, food and refreshments, a costume contest, and a well marked course.
The costume contest will be judged before the race begins so participants who want to enter should arrive early. Awards are planned for the top three female and top three male finishers and for the top three masters 50 plus female and male finishers.
