FundRacers - Runnin' for a Reason
FundRacers - Runnin' for a Reason is a community running event held on Saturday, August 8, 2026 in downtown Sugar Hill at The Plaza, 5039 West Broad Street. The event features a race along the Sugar Hill greenway and includes music, door prizes, post-race snacks, and awards.

Entry fees for the 5K are tiered by registration date: Super Early Bird $28 on or before April 18, Early Bird $32 from April 19 to July 4, and $35 from July 5 through race day. The Fun Run fee is $18 at any time. A family discount rate of $92 applies automatically when four people are registered together for the same event; the discount covers only the first four registrants and additional entries are charged at the regular price.
Awards include trophies for top overall male and female winners and for top masters male and female winners. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in five year age groups from 10 and under through 75 and up.
The race benefits SwemKids and Swim Safe. SwemKids provides free swim lessons and swim education across ages to address inequities and promote water safety.
